Media Changer Deluxe is a versatile 32-bit utility that can cycle your wallpaper, screen savers, event sounds, and themes at Windows bootup and automatically thereafter at specified intervals. For instance, you can change your sounds every 30 minutes, your screen saver every two hours, and your theme every four-and-a-half hours. An easy-to-use, tabbed setup screen has options to randomize, fine-tune, and enable or disable changes for each category. Create user-defined lists of folders for each media type that Media Changer will select the next file from. Not only can you rotate the standard Windows event sounds, but the program supports changing event sounds for other programs. (Basically, if it shows up in Control Panel/Sounds, Media Changer Deluxe can manipulate it.) Wallpaper options include automatic stretching or tiling based on criteria you set, plus you can use .jpg files as well as .bmpimages for wallpaper. You'll also find support for .png, .gif, and .htm files if you're using Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x with Active Desktop or Windows 98 when in "View As Web Page" mode.
